Harriette Yvonne Hately 87, of Mount Plymouth, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2015 with family at her bedside. Yvonne was born on December 20, 1927 in Durango, Colorado, a longtime resident of Grants, New Mexico, and moved to Florida in 1991.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her lifelong friend and husband of 65 years, Eugene Reeves Hately who passed in 2013. She was involved in many social clubs, community service activities, organizations, and was a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi.
Yvonne is survived by her three children, son James and wife Jo Hately of Ft. Collins, Colorado, son Jeffrey and wife Lori Hately of Oviedo, Florida, and daughter Rebecca Hately and husband Michael Goldson of Sorrento, Florida; nine grandchildren, Mark Hately, Jennifer Stein, Laurie Lister, Lance Lister, Doug Hately, Megan Hately, Kerry Kehm, Kelly Ryan and Travis Richert; and twenty great-grandchildren, Ricky Hately-Ruiz, Myla Hately-Dearth, Ava Hately, Jaycie Lister, Tyler Lister, Marc Lister, Isaiah Lister, Hannah Lister, Marcus Hately, Jena Hately, Kegan Mullen, Mallory Mullen, Bailey Mullen, Caiden Kehm, Carter Kehm, Callan Kehm, Ellie Ryan, Presley Richert, McKenzie Stein, and Makeala Stein.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 25th, 10:00am at the First United Methodist Church, 439 East 5th Avenue, Mount Dora, Florida 32757 (352-383-2005).
