Charles A. Davis Obituary
Charles A. Davis passed away peacefully early Monday, March 5, 2018 with his loving daughter Patsy at his side. Chuck moved to Mancos, Colorado in 2015 after the passing of his beloved wife Terry. Chuck was welcomed into his new home at the ranch over looking Mesa Verde and the beautiful Colorado countryside. He loved his new home and was grateful every day for the beauty and the constant furry support of three ranch dogs. The Ranch also provided a popular venue for family gatherings where "Grampy" was able to visit with his sons Bob, Chris, and the "Team Grampy" contingent made up of grand daughters, nieces and extended family. One year ago almost to the day of his passing, Grampy enjoyed a trip to California where he was able to spend time with his family including his three beautiful granddaughters. He loved to sing, recite poetry, and share his wonderful sense of

humor with those he loved. He was the perfect Father, Grandfather, Uncle, and friend; exhibiting compassion,

kindness, and intelligence. He lived a full and successful life those 90 years; raising a family with the love and companionship of wife Terry for 67 years. Active in his church and community, successful in business, he was always true to his beliefs. Chuck now rests in Charlotte, North Carolina, at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church next to his wife Terry. The Cypress of Charlotte, where Chuck and Terry called home for 17 years, is just down the street.

When it's quiet in the evening, and all is still, you just might hear "...The outlook wasn't brilliant for the Mudville Nine that day..." Rest in Peace, light, and love, dear man...
