Micky was born on August 1, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to Robert and Bonita Jenkinson. He passed away on September 17, 2017 in Eugene, Oregon. He was 66 years old. He lived in Ignacio, Colorado.
Micky was raised in Palos Verdes, California. As an avid motor cross racer, he was ranked third in the nation during his teens and early twenties. He moved to Colorado from California in 1983 and worked as a meat manager into the 90's. Micky then spent the last 17 years of his life with The Brennan's as General Manager for the Exxon stations. He was a gun enthusiast and loved hunting and camping with his family and friends. Micky also loved duct tape and Cabelas catalogs. He was tinkerer of all things possible. He spent his retirement traveling the West Coast with his sweetheart and their two dogs taking up the sights.
Micky is survived by his wife Paula Jenkinson. Daughters Tracy Jenkinson Tulley, Jessica White, Megan McCoy, and Shelly Shideler. He had three Grandsons and four Granddaughters and Cody Ochsenreiter, that will miss him dearly. Micky enjoyed the s**t out of life. We will all miss him A LOT!

So sorry to recently hear this news.! I knew Micky since I was 6 years old in Palos Verdes. I spent many years on camping trips when I was small with his mom and dad, and frequently visited them all when they moved to Durango. His mom, Bonita was like a second mom to me! I am happy to know that they are all reunited together again. My heart goes out to Paula, Tracy, Jessica, and Meghan! Peace be with you, Mick!

My first memory of Micky was of a bright faced small California boy with a crew cut and a sprinkling of freckles across his nose. He was 6 years old and I was his 19 year old cousin emigrating from England. Despite our age difference we became fast friends during the three years I lived with Micky and his parents Bob and Bonita. We haven't communicated often during our adult years but my Aunt Bonita and I were in frequent contact so she kept me up to date on Micky's activities. He has always held a warm spot in my heart so my family and I celebrate the rich, full life that he lived and will mourn his loss...
