Timothy Walker Obituary

Timothy Wade Walker left his earthly body Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at the age of 61.

He was a resident of beautiful Colorado for the last 15 years, but Hawaii was his true home and remained in his heart as his homeland.

Tim was born Oct 24, 1957 at Birds Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, to parents Gerald Dee Hall and Vira Jacqueline Skidmore. Although Tim suffered a stroke at the age of 39, he proved how much he loved life by staying with us for another 20 plus years! He loved the ocean and surfing. He loved to cook Asian and Hawaiian Recipes and was employed as a master chef at many fine restaurants throughout his career. He loved to ride that old vintage Harley Davidson Panhead around the Islands in his spare time. Tim loved all kinds of music, but Santana was his favorite artist. Tim was an experienced herbalist and one of his favorite sayings was "stick with the green!" True to form, he passed at 4:20 A.M.

Tim married Mattlyn Bonaventure Andrada on Valentine's Day in a sunset ceremony at The United Methodist Church in Aiea, Hawaii. This union produced 2 fine children, Timothy James Walker (1981) and Aja Dee Rain Walker(1983).

Tim is preceded in death by his Father, Jerald Dee Hall, sister, Roxanne Nani Walker, his Great Uncle, Porter Wagoner, and his Grandma Rain (Lorraine Wagoner Hall).

Tim is survived by his Mother and a Brother, Scott Alan Walker of Honolulu, Hawaii, Sisters, Wendy Barrett of Margate Florida, and Lisa Blue of Durango Colorado, his children (Aja and TJ) and Grandchildren, Leila and Jade Walker of Las Vegas, and Kawika Isgar Andrade Walker of Durango, Colorado, his niece Krii Black of Bayfield Colorado, and nephew Dylan Hendricks of Marvel Colorado.

Tim's ashes will be given back to the sea on 2/27/19, in Waianae Hawaii, on the 5th birthday of his grandson, Kawika.

Condolences may be sent to: The Family of Tim Walker, c/o Lisa Blue, PO Box 2394, Durango CO 81302
