Mr. Drake was my teacher at North Shore Jr. High school. He was good, fair and engaged with the students. I am glad he lived a full life.

I met Howard only one time but I was so impressed by his knowledge and kindness. I joined a hiking group. Howard was like a mountain goat. I could not believe my eyes on his energy. He invited everyone back to his home for his baking. He was very kind. I have never forgotten him.
